Safe and Home Again,
takes a look into the life of today’s logging family and the
important advances made in the forest products industry that improve the
safety and wellbeing of all loggers.

Safe and Home Again, a 15-minute video developed by Lake States Women In Timber,
Inc, with a grant from the National Timber Harvesting and Transportation
Safety Foundation, takes a look at safety in timber harvesting and its human
elements, stepping into the lives of professional loggers and their families
as they discuss what logging safety means to them – on their operations and
in their lives.
Combining good nuts-and-bolts safety information with a warm-hearted view of
the people involved, this video rejects the “horror-story” approach of so
many safety orientations. This video has a place at a logger training
meeting, loggers’ appreciation dinner, or at any event which brings loggers
and their families together.
