Lake States Women In Timber (LSWIT) was established in 1984 by a group of women who believed that there was a need for an active organization supporting the Lake States forest resource and the families dependent upon it. 

LSWIT includes individual and corporate members in the Lake States of Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin as well as throughout the country.
